At the heart of Lakeside

Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou – Many thanks to our amazing sponsors and community who keep the Lakeside Concert beating year after year.

Sponsors

For over 25 years, the Rotorua Lakeside Concert Trust has been organising a free-to-attend concert in Rotorua, thanks to the unwavering support of our generous sponsors, supporters, and the community at large, all of which are at the heart of Lakeside.

We want to express our gratitude to all those who have supported us over the years. Their support has been invaluable in our growth and ability to bring the best in music to our community. The Rotorua Trust supported the initial heartbeat of Lakeside, rewinding in time over two decades ago to the very beginning in 1997, and we thank each and every sponsor who has come on board over the years. They have been invaluable in our growth and ability to bring the best in music to our community.

As the founder of the Lakeside Concert, Ian Edward, said, “The original idea was to bring together the best of Māori, classical and contemporary music, in a format free and accessible to every citizen of the region, and those values remain the same today.” It’s about us, the Rotorua community, and enriching our uniqueness. We remain forever grateful to our sponsors, supporters and community.

Our small team of trustees brings together Lakeside, lots of planning, and a team of people to set up and pack down the event. And thanks to our sponsors’ contributions, we can provide a platform for emerging artists to showcase their skills and established artists to perform for a diverse audience.

We’re excited to keep bringing the best in music and entertainment to our audiences, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our sponsors. So, let’s give a round of applause to all our sponsors listed below!
