On 15 March 2019, New Zealand was shaken by the horrific mass shootings of people at prayer in Mosques in Christchurch. A wave of grief flowed through the country and the phrase “They Are Us” was born.
Nearly a year later, Rotorua responds with the twenty fourth annual, free, Lakeside Concert entitled ‘TĀTAU TĀTAU – Us Together”. The concert is to be held on Saturday 29 February at the Rotorua Lakefront Village Green.
It will be spectacular, with top entertainers including Hollie Smith, Maisey Rika, Adeaze, Savage, Alofa and IDCO will entertain.
TĀTAU TĀTAU is about more than a concert, it is about an ideology. It is a perfect opportunity to show our spirit of mutual acceptance and respect for our diverse community, with its varying backgrounds, faiths and cultures. Show your support by wearing the t-shirt.
Order online now to secure your shirt. Orders must be in before 18 February to ensure availability.
The good quality cotton ‘T’ is available in various sizes at a cost of $30 each. For each shirt sold, $7.50 will also be donated to KidsCan, helping Kiwi kids in need.
You will be notified when you order is ready and you can choose to pick up your order from Speedy Signs at 37 Te Ngae Road, Rotorua between 9am and 4pm (6pm Fridays) or have it delivered for an additional cost of $7.50 for courier delivery.
The T-shirts are being promoted and organised by the Rotary Club of Rotorua Sunrise as a fundraiser for the KidsCan Charitable Trust. Your support is very much appreciated.
